Kaneva Terms

Most terms in Kaneva are the same as those everywhere else on the internet – however, I still plan on listing the most common.  If you have any more you would like to add, please leave a comment below.

• ^5 – highfive (as in giving you a highfive)
• 2d – profile pages and control panels available on the internet
• 3d – the virual world
• afk – Traditionally, ‘away from keyboard’, but specifically ‘away from Kaneva’. Some also say ‘away from kindergarten’ if you’re in the mall drama.
• anklebiter – Annoying member who is dancing on the thin ice of getting kicked/suspended.
• brb – Be Right Back
• boot – Usually a member term for the outcome of a kick or ban.
• dropping a pm – accidently typing something for the public to see that was ment to be a pm
• gm – good morning
• goto – Command that teleports GM to an XYZ coordinate.
• hb – hurry back
• htfb – hurry the fuck back
• kbomb – when your 3d client errors out and crashes
• kmail – kaneva’s 2d messaging system (also available in-world)
• lol – laugh(ing) out lout
• mistell – See “dropping a pm”
• pm – private message
• poof – Intentionally making a misbehaving member disappear.
• rofl – rolls on floor laughing
• roflmao – rolls on floor laughing my ass off
• slotting – Pretyping a kick or ban command on a member who will predictably break rules again in near future. Effect looks like an almost instantaneous boot when they next mess up.
• stfu – shut the fuck up
• summon – Forcibly porting a member to the GM.
• tftr – Thanks for the rave!
• ty – thank you
• tysvm – thank you so very much
• wb – welcome back
• wtf – what the fuck
• wth – what the hell
• yw – you’re welcome
• yvw – you’re very welcome
