While We Wait For the New Update –

I’ve been checking out the new Kaneva store – shop.kaneva.com

The idea here seems to be pretty cool – it looks like Kaneva is trying to integrate some of the user design that people in Second Life love.

On Design Kaneva it looks like you have the ability to stylize the following items –

  • Mens Shirt
  • Womens Shirt
  • Mens Pants
  • Womens Skirt

The site says not to change the size of the templates they provide, but I’m wondering if anyone will restructure the clothing at all.  This also makes me wonder if someone is going to create nude clothing – bringing the adult aspect of virtual worlds even more into Kaneva.

Anyways, once you create your clothing – it appears that you can turn around it sell it on Shop Kaneva (this seems to be a great new way to earn credits and enhance the in world experience).

It also appears that some new items have been added with the inception of this online store.

How will this change the online world of Kaneva?  Only time will tell I guess – but evolution is important to any online community so I can’t wait to see what potential this brings to the game (and my future articles).

Changing the template size just causes it to be rejected, meaning you need to start over. I’ve seen some clever clothing that mimics skin tones, but isn’t nude. “Nude” clothing will probably just be deleted, meaning anyone who purchases it may also lose their investment.
